Purple Sunflower

Placing art on a tile is one of my favorite things!! There's something to be said about how the inks just glide effortlessly over the smooth top of the tile! And so... I decided to make functional art out of tiles! This one, The Purple Sunflower is one of a kind, of art tile and it is one exceptional piece of upcycled and repurposed functional art! Not only does it make a great piece of upcycled art, you can also use it as a candle holder and/or plant holder but even better, it can be used for your foods as a trivet/hot plate! Hand-painted with alcohol ink, added sealants for shine and protection, followed by resin, this piece is best kept clean with a damp cloth! Dishwasher cleaning is not recommended.
